Elizabeth J. Ferguson Attorney at Law

General information

After graduating high school, Elizabeth attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned her degree, a bachelor of science, in journalism. Elizabeth’s early interest in the law came when she took a sex discrimination class as an undergraduate at CU. She decided then and there that with a career in law she could advocate for fairness and justice for the disenfranchised.

Elizabeth went on to pursue a law degree at New York Law School. Her commitment to her studies paid off as she graduated with honors, cum laude, at the top of her class.

Upon completing law school, Elizabeth practiced in New York City before eventually returning to Texas to pioneer a county guardianship law program. She is now in private practice in San Angelo, TX.

Whether it’s practicing law or teaching law in the classroom, Elizabeth is committed to the message that through the legal system a lawyer can help folks stand up for themselves and be made whole again in the face of an injustice.
